CronkNews.com has challenged its staff, through manipulation, threats and temper tantrums, to improve social networking. The goal: to attract 100 Twitter followers before Ashton Kutcher recruits 4 million.

this should be pretty easy to do you can do it in about an hour without following any one first.
All you have to do is go to search.twitter.com and type in new blog post, and use the reply feature to comment on peoples twitter page using @replies
most people will follow you for showing an interest in them and mentioning their tweets.
Note to self: Add item to next staff meeting agenda.
